Non-Profit Organization Activities
The Sanoh Group is constantly searching for the qualities required to become an ideal company in the twenty-first century. In our view, it is essential that a company of this new era should promote leading-edge technologies and on-going innovation within the organization, while considering the environment and humanity. As an initial step towards such a direction, we shall always consider
the importance of "co-existence with the local community."
With the enactment of the "Law to Promote Certain NPO Activities" in December 1998, we had established
two NPO corporations in April 2000: "MACHI-TUKURI Network" and "NIKO-NIKO Service".

Machi-Zukuri Network |
"Machi-Zukuri" is continually involved in three
areas, as follows:
- Social Education - The Corporation shares knowledge with local citizens by opening various community colleges and holding seminars on "The Aging Society," "Environmental Protection," "Information Processing," etc.
- Local Community Re-Development - The Corporation supports relevant policy to encourage the use of bicycles promoted by the Environment Agency and Koga City, in specific cooperation with the city government to increase use of electrical bicycles to assist in revitalizing the downtown area.
- Environment - The Corporation is participating in
a city government project to "Make Koga a Fragrant City" by establishing a network
to market herbal products for interested citizens.

NIKO-NIKO Service |
"NIKO-NIKO Service" is committed to contributing to the improvement of quality standards for the welfare society by providing the following:
- Provisions for home care service to the aged and the
handicapped, in addition to the marketing/sales of welfare products.
- Remodeling of people's houses to provide a "barrier-free"
and comfortable living area. We will continue to provide our resources and technologies
to make contributions back to the Koga area. We wish to co-exist with other private
and corporate citizens, as a good member of the community while learning more
about our community's requirements through such participation.
It is our belief that the "model company of the future" that we are pursuing is one that has a harmonized balance between a global perspective gained through experience in overseas business and a local/regional perspective achieved through co-existence with its community.
