Sanoh donated a total of 4,946 desktop and faucet sneeze guards and 1,648 water faucet levers to 30 elementary and junior high schools in Koga City where our Koga Factory (Ibaraki Prefecture) is located as a measure against COVID-19.
The donation acceptance ceremony was held in the Koga Government Building at Koga City Hall on December 10. Genya Takeda, President of Sanoh, presented the donation certificate to Chikara Hariya, Mayor of Koga.
Takeda said some words at the donation acceptance ceremony: “We believe that education is very important, so we would like to help create a vibrant city by cooperating with local schools.” Hariya expressed his gratitude to Sanoh: “I am truly grateful that you have visited each school many times and provided them with what they needed according to their requests with a wonderful attitude to offer an immediate improvement and response.”
The Mainichi Shimbun and the Ibaraki Shimbun also covered this event on the day.
